Duo Sessions

For many years, drummer/percussionist extraordinaire Mark Albosta and I would get together almost weekly at his small studio in the sierra foothills for a creative improvisational collaboration, incorporating acoustic guitar (with the addition of a loop pedal) and electronic/acoustic drums/percussion. Our sessions were completely live (no overdubs) and for the most part pure improvisation - we would just start the "tape" rolling and begin playing. While 99% of what we played in these sessions was unplanned and spontaneous, we eventually developed a few "anchor" pieces that we incorporated periodically into the sessions when the mood hit.
