duo sessions

For the past several years, drummer/percussionist extrodanaire Mark Albosta and I have working on a creative improvisational collaboration incorporating acoustic guitar (with the addition of a loop pedal) and electronic drums/percussion. Playing about once a week, our sessions are completely live (no overdubs) and for the most part pure improvisation - we just start the "tape" rolling and begin playing. While 99% of what we play in these sessions is unplanned and spontaneous, we have developed a few "anchor" pieces that we incorporate periodically into the sessions when the mood hits.

Many of these sessions are available for streaming or mp3 download (right click and save as) below (no commercial use please) - completely uncut and raw, blemishes and all. They are generally over 1 hour long and posted (mostly) after each session.
